Why are liminal spaces important?

For the Hedge Witch this is the Hedge itself, the place between our reality and another reality, between dimensions of time and space, the place of transition.
The energy used must here must come from a non judgmental, non bias or self identifying ego. If ego is used then it will interfere with the transition and create boundaries between you and the other dimension / reality.
