Traditions

Witchcraft is a diverse and multifaceted practice with various traditions and belief systems. It’s important to note that witchcraft traditions can differ significantly based on cultural backgrounds and personal interpretations.

The Green Man

A figure in folklore and art that symbolises rebirth, the cycle of nature, and the relationship between humans and the natural world. The Green Man is often depicted as a face surrounded by foliage.

Liminal

A liminal space is a place of transition between one state, time, or place and another.
It can be a physical space, like an empty or abandoned building.
It can also be a mental state, like the feeling of being between sleep and wakefulness.
Liminal spaces can feel eerie, forlorn, or surreal.

Protection

In witchcraft, “spiritual protection” refers to practices and rituals used to shield oneself or others from negative energies, harmful intentions, or spiritual attacks, often through the use of spells, charms, amulets, and other magical tools, essentially acting as a barrier against unwanted influences; it’s considered a vital aspect of witchcraft practice to maintain personal energetic wellbeing.

Metaphysics

Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy that deals with the fundamental nature of reality, including the relationship between mind and matter, substance and attribute, fact and value. It explores questions about the nature of existence, reality, causality, time, space, and the relationship between the physical and the abstract aspects of reality.
